Lovewine’s Truffle and Vintage Barolo experience

We appreciate that the scale of certain business deals requires a dramatic gesture of respect and appreciation towards your client.

In recognition of the importance of such relationships, Lovewine offers our exceptional Truffle and Vintage Barolo experience

Why use our truffle and Vintage Barolo experience?

As a business tool, this is an outstanding way to reward and enhance V.I.P. client relationships. This unique experience is only available to our clients from September to February to ensure the provenance of our truffles.

When is the Truffle and Barolo experience needed?

We suggest:

• To celebrate the signing of an important contract; or

• To finesse the way forward after you have resolved any current difficulties, by demonstrating your goodwill towards an ongoing future with that client.

“With a contented stomach your heart is forgiving, with an empty stomach, you forgive nothing.” Sicilian Proverb

• To reward record levels of current business.

• To welcome an incoming M.D. or CEO after a takeover.

• To celebrate an important event in the life of your client’s Managing Director, CEO or an influential Board member. Such gestures are seldom forgotten and enhance trust in your business relationship.

For example:
(1) To welcome the birth of a child, or
(2) To celebrate a marriage.

Why do we celebrate with truffles?

If life can be described in a smell, then it is the smell of truffles.

The truffle is described by the great gourmand, Brillat-Savarin, as the “diamond of the kitchen”. White truffles are the gastronomes holy of holies and its incomparable aroma will enliven your senses.

Alexandre Dumas, the French author of “the Three Musketeers” and “The Man in the Iron Mask” and gourmet author of “Le Grande Dictionaire de Cuisine” wrote:

“When I eat truffles I become livelier, happier, I feel refreshed. I feel inside me, especially in my veins, a sweet and voluptuous warmth that quickly reaches my head. My ideas are clearer and easier, my digestion works easily and my sleep is untroubled.”

Lovewine only selects first quality white truffles from suppliers in Piedmont, Italy and black truffles from Perigord in France to ensure you experience the true wonder of these seasonal gems.

Experience a touch of heaven as your fresh truffle’s heady scent envelops your senses as it is freshly grated over an elegant risotto, or freshly made egg tajarin pasta. Our chef will recommend a number of ways to maximise your enjoyment of these great rarities.

Consumed with an expertly selected glass of aged vintage Barolo from a leading Piedmont winemaker, you and your client will have shared together a gourmet experience akin to a lightning bolt hitting the ground beneath your feet.
